Rainer Salomaa

Rainer pastors the Kelowna, Penticton, Prince George, British Columbia and Grande Prairie, Alberta congregations and will also be taking over the pastorate of Calgary shortly after the feast. He has served as the chairman of the National Council for the last six years. He is also on the Ministerial Services team in Canada. He was born in Finland and grew up in Canada. He is an Ambassador graduate of 1969 and has served in the church and ministry for thirty four years, having pastored numerous congregations in eastern and western Canada. He and his wife, Claudia, have been married for 35 years. They have two daughters, Tammy and Sonya. His wife, Claudia, has run her own home-based upholstery business. They enjoy hunting, fishing and camping and are trying to figure out how to spoil their two grandchild.
